My Grandma Hoggan was one of the best grandmas in the whole entire world. She died two days ago. She had been one of the nicest grandmas ever! I wish she was still alive. She always cooked the best meals ever! She made the best corn on the cob in the whole entire world! She had 3 sons called Dave,Sterling, and my dad Shaun. She always had are beds ready for us when we arrived at their house. We always had a tradition called Gramp’s Camp. Everyone on my dad’s side get together at someone’s house. We had fun and games while we are at the place. But since she died I don’t know if we’re doing it anymore. We always walked around the pond close by her house and talk. We also did it because I wanted to watch the ducks and fish in the pond. She also had a big garden. She used to ask me to take the snails out of her garden. It was always the tomatoes in the front she wanted me to take. I sometimes picked the fruit or vegetables but not often. I wish I could see her this spring break when I go to Utah but we’re going out there for her funeral. She loved me dearly and I did too. I wish I could see her again.

My name is Ethan Hoggan and I am in Mrs.Snitselaar’s class. I would like to be in student council.
I think I would be good in student council because I am a smart boy. Here are some examples of how I am smart, I listen to the teacher when she speaks and I get good grades by doing well on my tests and math sheets. One time someone lost their dollar and I found it and gave it to the teacher and got a life skill award for being honest. The owner eventually got it from the teacher.
I try my hardest to help others, my brother, and my family. I can serve others by treating them how I want to be treated. For example, this weekend I volunteered for
Pleasant Hill clean up day at the middle school.
I am going there when I am in 6
th grade. I felt very good helping the middle school be cleaner. I am looking forward to helping someone again.
My interests are learning how to play piano, writing blogs on my website Hoggan Boys, and going to cub scouts. I will not let you down if chosen to be in student council. Thank you for listening my essay.

Herbie still didn’t want to go to baseball practice even with his new name. Do you want to take the long way by the the swimming hole? asked Herbie. Sure, said Raymond. Raymond’s dog shadow followed behind. Herbie heard something and stopped did you hear that? said Herbie. I hear splashing souds in the swimming hole.Herbie said who would be swimming at 9:15?They cheked it out and there was a lady swimming. We better get going before my Uncle gets mad at us for being late. Shadow got the lunch out of the ladys stuff and brought it to Herbie and Raymond. Shadow ate the sandwich and Raymond was not happy. Maybe we can replace it, said Herbie Raymond tried to geuss what it was.Herbie smelled inside Shadow’s mouth and said it was liverwurst. How are we going to replace a liverwurst sandwich?Raymond rode home on his bike and got a liverwurst sandwich and put it in a brown bag. Herbie saw her do a dive, she reminded Herbie of a movie star. Herbie thought the morning was turning out to be fun. Herbie took a step back,He knew that person that was his 3rd grade teacher! Herbie could hear someone peddling down the pathway. It was Raymond with a brown bag. Herbie said it was Miss.Pinkham. Then Raymond was suprised that was Miss.Pinkham shhhhh! said Herbie. We didn’t have liverwurst in our frige so I made her a liver sandwich. A LIVER SANDWICH? shhhhhh! said Raymond. They both went out and put the bag on her towl and ran back. As soon as they got there Shadow pounsed on them,as theygot Shadow off one eye of Miss.Pinkham opened and she saw them. Nice to see you boys here. She said to then to sit down. Herbie was not breathing easily. She said a good morning swim because no one was there. We’ve been to the libary many times this summer said Raymond. She said she was teaching 4th grade this year.Herbie if he was in her class, and she said yes. Then Raymond asked if he was in her class too,and she said yes. YIPPY! said Raymond we have to go now said the boys. Then they heard a scream.Did you cook that sanwich?asked Herbie. I didn’t said Raymond I didn’t have time. HOW COULD YOU!! yelled Herbie and peddled off.
